Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and provide therapy services
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members, teachers, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, complete documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student outcomes
- Provide consultation and training to staff and families as needed
