Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and provide therapy services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members, teachers, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records, complete documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student outcomes
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and families as needed
