Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of IEP writing and compliance
  • Comfortable supervising and mentoring an SLPA in a school environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Able to adapt to changing student and program needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy, and direct services to students
  • Supervise and support a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), providing guidance and feedback
  • Develop, write, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in case management meetings
  • Partner with teachers, families, and other professionals to foster academic achievement and communication skills
