Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Just outside Petersburg, MI, this role offers meaningful work with a school-aged population needing skilled, compassionate therapy.

You'll manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering essential speech and language services to help them achieve their communication goals. Previous experience with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices is key, as you'll assist students who rely on technology for expressive and receptive communication. Both full-time and part-time options are available, giving you flexibility that fits your lifestyle.

Qualifications & Credentials:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • CCC-SLP or CFY candidates both welcome
  • Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
  • Proficiency with AAC devices; ability to implement and support device integration into therapy
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Passion for empowering students with diverse speech and language needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers and staff on strategies and accommodations for classroom success
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Support students’ use of AAC devices and provide training as needed
