Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current SLP licensure
  • Eligible for or holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Previous experience in a school-based SLP position is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and implementing AAC strategies with students
  • Demonstrated proficiency in assessment, intervention, progress monitoring, and collaborative consultation
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to students across a manageable caseload of approximately 50 learners
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Utilize AAC devices to support students with complex communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and case management as required
