Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current SLP licensure
- Eligible for or holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP position is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and implementing AAC strategies with students
- Demonstrated proficiency in assessment, intervention, progress monitoring, and collaborative consultation
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students across a manageable caseload of approximately 50 learners
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Utilize AAC devices to support students with complex communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and case management as required
