Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for practice as an SLP
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver targeted therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain clear, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Supervise and provide ongoing support to an SLPA, ensuring best practices in line with regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress and contribute to the educational team
