A rewarding opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school settings. This full-time contract assignment starts in September 2026 and extends through November 2026, supporting 4th to 6th grade students. You’ll work a consistent 37.5 hours per week, making a direct impact in the classroom and helping students find their voices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Hold (or eligible for) SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
  • Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders affecting elementary students
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Current or eligible Michigan state SLP licensure

Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders in 4th–6th grade students
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions according to IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate progress documentation and reporting
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff for student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility decisions, and the development of intervention strategies
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students
