Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role begins August 10, 2026 and continues through May 26, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. You’ll provide essential speech and language services in an engaging educational environment, helping young learners achieve their communication and academic goals.

What You Bring:

  • Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience or interest in working with K-12 populations within school settings
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to varied learning needs and age groups
  • Skilled at maintaining accurate documentation and progress records

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across all K-12 grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Conduct screenings, monitor student progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team planning
  • Provide guidance and resources for families and caregivers to support students’ communication skills beyond the classroom
