Step into a rewarding and dynamic position supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract-to-hire opportunity begins August 3rd for the 2026-27 school year, focusing on elementary caseloads, with additional roles open at all grade levels. Serving approximately 50 students with a 37.5-hour work week, you'll have the chance to make a real impact on young learners’ communication skills in a collaborative educational setting.

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in school environments preferred
  • Strong ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Adaptability to meet varying student needs and caseload requirements

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students, primarily at the elementary level
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and manage caseload paperwork in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning for student success
