Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience or strong interest in a school-based setting
  • Skilled in assessment, planning, and implementing treatment for articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic communication, and AAC high-tech device needs
  • Comfortable managing a diverse caseload covering mild to severe impairments
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for a variety of student needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to elementary students
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, social-pragmatic, and AAC device usage
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate proactively with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
