Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure as required for practice in schools
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads, with a strong understanding of child development and educational frameworks
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students identified with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain timely and accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support comprehensive educational development
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide expertise on communication goals and strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and legal requirements
