Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state licensure as required for practice in schools
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads, with a strong understanding of child development and educational frameworks
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students identified with speech, language, or communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support comprehensive educational development
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and provide expertise on communication goals and strategies
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and legal requirements
