Qualifications:

  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
  • Current Colorado SLP License
  • CDE (Colorado Department of Education) SLP certification
  • Experience in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices and progress tracking

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to elementary-aged students, both individually and in small groups
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and determine eligibility for services
  • Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
  • Consult with teachers and parents to support communication strategies in the classroom and at home
  • Participate in team meetings and school-wide initiatives as needed
