In this position, you will have the chance to apply and develop your expertise in school-based speech language pathology, focusing on pediatric populations within an elementary setting. You will play a key role in supporting students’ abilities to communicate effectively, work towards their IEP goals, and flourish both academically and socially.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active or pending Speech Language Pathologist Assistant certification or licensure required
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting preferred
  • Comfort working with a variety of communication disorders and developmental levels
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, SLPs, parents, and support staff
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP school environments a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist in implementing IEP-related speech/language interventions
  • Track progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to documentation
  • Support SLPs with assessments and student observations
  • Participate in meetings and consult with educational teams when required

This contract role offers a competitive pay of $30-$40 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
