A school-based opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple full-time SLPs are needed to provide direct and consultative services to students in K-8th grade classrooms. This is an excellent setting for professionals passionate about pediatric communication, language, and social-emotional development. Support from onsite SLPAs is provided, ensuring a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Active CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within K-8 educational settings
  • Texas licensure or eligibility required
  • Comfortable working with a variety of needs, assessments, and IEP development
  • Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus
  • Capacity to collaborate with other therapists, educators, and support staff effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in K-8 classrooms, targeting various communication disorders
  • Conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain clear, accurate records and document student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators on student achievement
  • Supervise and provide guidance to onsite SLPAs
  • Participate in professional development as required

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract running from August 2026 through May 2027. The director is reviewing applicants now and ready to schedule interviews this week, so prompt submissions are encouraged!
