Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Experience working with K-12 students, with the ability to adapt assessment and therapy techniques across varying developmental stages
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Dedication to fostering student progress, participation, and confidence in both individual and group settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver screenings, evaluations, and individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to implement effective student interventions
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough and compliant records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning accommodations for each student’s unique needs
  • Educate staff and families on speech and language development and strategies to support students outside of direct therapy
