As part of a collaborative campus-based team, you will work closely with educators, families, and support staff to deliver high-quality speech and language services. The ideal candidate feels confident serving pediatric populations in an educational setting and takes a compassionate, flexible approach to student needs.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Knowledge of best practices for students with Autism
- Background in educational or healthcare settings relating to school-based SLP services
- Comfortable working exclusively in-person, supporting the Lancaster campus site
- Prior teletherapy or healthcare SLP work (helpful, but not required)
- Ability to collaborate with an SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) if assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Effectively communicate progress to educators, staff, and families
- Cultivate a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
