Skills and qualifications that make you an outstanding candidate:

  • Holds or is eligible for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
  • Background in pediatric or school-based settings, with specialized experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Proficiency in current SLP practices and therapeutic techniques within educational environments
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
  • Experience or comfort with teletherapy is a plus, but this role is in-person

Key responsibilities you would take on:

  • Provide assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for students’ progress
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reporting and compliance documentation
  • Be actively involved in school teams, offering expertise for students with Autism and other communication disorders
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students of varying abilities
