Step into an engaging school-based setting and support K-5 learners as a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract assignment. This opportunity is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, starting August 6, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Available roles provide a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., ensuring work-life balance and a structured routine.

You’ll work onsite at a single school location, collaborating closely with educators, families, and other professionals to deliver impactful speech and language interventions for elementary students. While each assignment’s caseload is to be determined, you’ll have the chance to make a difference across a range of developmental needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and valid SLP or SLPA license or certification (required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting, ideally working with elementary (K-5) populations
  • Strong communication skills, both with students and interdisciplinary teams
  • Organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to varying student needs
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and related documentation preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-5 students as part of their educational support team
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Conduct assessments and maintain thorough progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff
  • Support students’ communication development to foster academic and social success
