What you'll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly desired.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and document progress effectively.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication challenges in students.
- Designing and implementing targeted treatment interventions to address students’ needs, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each child’s learning goals.
- Maintaining thorough records of student progress using established district protocols.
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing guidance for educational planning.
- Offering resources and strategies to teachers and parents that reinforce progress made during therapy sessions.
