This full-time, contract opportunity involves collaborating with a supportive educational team, serving students with a wide range of communication needs—including those who are non-verbal—across the current school year, Extended School Year (ESY), and the upcoming academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Compassion and adaptability working with students spanning a range of disabilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency challenges
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy tailored to each student’s needs—both individually and in small groups
- Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
- Provide support for both current school year as well as ESY and next school year programming
