Speech and Language Pathologist in Philadelphia, PA

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid Pennsylvania SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience or strong interest in a K-12 educational setting
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work on-site Monday through Friday, full-time

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide speech and language therapy sessions to K-12 students across diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress as mandated by the school and district
• Support ESY (Extended School Year) programming to facilitate ongoing student development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student planning
