Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in a K-12 educational setting
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to work on-site Monday through Friday, full-time
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide speech and language therapy sessions to K-12 students across diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress as mandated by the school and district
- Support ESY (Extended School Year) programming to facilitate ongoing student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student planning
