Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) to make a lasting difference in the life of a medically fragile, bed-bound middle school student in the Haverford area, just west of Philadelphia. This contract role provides essential support for one student, working closely with their family and a collaborative team of occupational and physical therapy professionals. As this position involves a non-ambulatory student with parents who are primarily Spanish-speaking, strong bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are preferred; however, highly qualified non-bilingual clinicians are also encouraged to apply, as interpreter services may be arranged.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience delivering school-based SLP services, preferably with medically complex or non-ambulatory students
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred, but not required
  • Compassionate communication skills with students and families of diverse backgrounds
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working alongside OT and PT providers

Position Details:

  • Contract position, immediate start or for the upcoming school year
  • 2.5 hours each week onsite (in-person service required; virtual is not an option)
  • Year-round, ongoing commitment through at least the 2027 school year
  • Focused caseload: Individualized support for one medically fragile student
  • Flexibility for hours to increase as the student’s needs and schedule evolve
