Grades 6 - 8 K-5 School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, valid SLP license for the state of Pennsylvania
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates will also be considered
• Experience working with students in grades K-12, including specialized strategies for varying age groups
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop effective individualized education plans

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ communication abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
• Deliver therapy services—both individual and small group—to students across all grade levels (K-12)
• Work closely with educators, counselors, and parents to monitor student progress and adjust services as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and session documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for speech/language goals and supports
• Provide resources and strategies for teachers to integrate into classroom settings
