Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one promptly
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly regarded
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and monitor students’ educational growth
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to promote student success
- Contribute to IEP meetings as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team
- Utilize evidence-based practices and creative approaches to engage students
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
