A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Phoenix, AZ. This contract position spans the current school year and offers an opportunity to support students' communication development in an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student needs
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders in children
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
