Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC license issued by the state of Ohio
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with junior high/preteen populations
- Deep understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Excellent collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Commitment to onsite service delivery throughout the duration of the assignment
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for junior high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to academic and communication goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services across a range of communication disorders
- Serve as a resource for school staff, offering guidance and recommendations as needed
