Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC license issued by the state of Ohio
  • Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with junior high/preteen populations
  • Deep understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Excellent collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery throughout the duration of the assignment

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for junior high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to academic and communication goals
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
  • Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services across a range of communication disorders
  • Serve as a resource for school staff, offering guidance and recommendations as needed
