Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, contract role will let you support a diverse student population, focusing mainly on early childhood and elementary caseloads, with the opportunity to work with students from early childhood through 12th grade. The assignment runs from August 26th through May 27th of the 26-27 school year, with a consistent Tuesday through Friday schedule—offering four 8.75-hour days totaling 35 hours per week.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
  • Eligible for state licensure as an SLP (or on track for CFY)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with school-aged populations is highly valued, but recent graduates and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
  • Organized, flexible, and committed to student success

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students, targeting both early intervention and support through elementary, middle, and high school
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned caseload
  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and track student progress
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure optimal therapy outcomes
  • Support IEP meetings and provide consultative input for multidisciplinary teams
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based speech and language services
