Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an SLP and/or Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Skilled in tailoring therapy for students with a broad range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy to elementary and secondary school students
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and contribute to educational planning meetings
- Educate and support staff and caregivers regarding strategies to encourage language growth
