Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Pine Bluff, Arkansas

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as an SLP and/or Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Prior experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Skilled in tailoring therapy for students with a broad range of speech, language, and communication challenges
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy to elementary and secondary school students
• Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student progress
• Maintain accurate therapy notes and contribute to educational planning meetings
• Educate and support staff and caregivers regarding strategies to encourage language growth
