Empower young learners to communicate and thrive in an engaging educational setting serving K-10th grade students. This contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys variety in their caseload and values the chance to make a significant impact in students’ everyday lives.
As an on-site school-based SLP, you’ll be working three days per week with 30-35 students in a collaborative, supportive environment. Your role will focus on conducting evaluations and delivering direct therapy, with an emphasis on articulation and fluency for children across a variety of needs, including those using AAC devices and students on the autism spectrum.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Texas State SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Experience with school-aged students, preferably K-10
- Skills in managing caseloads with students requiring AAC device support
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorder interventions
- Strong background in evaluation and direct therapy focusing on articulation and fluency
- Teletherapy experience is a plus, but services are currently on-site only
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language evaluations for a diverse caseload
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with educators and families
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions in-person, primarily focusing on articulation, fluency, and supportive communication
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by state and school guidelines
This position offers an hourly pay range of $42 to $47, giving you flexibility with part-time scheduling across three days each week.
