Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Piqua, Ohio

Embark on an engaging part-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving PreK-9th grade students in a dynamic educational setting. Beginning August 28, 2026, this leave coverage role involves working three days each week, from 7:50 AM to 3:15 PM, providing valuable services in the Bradford, OH area. Your background in pediatric speech therapy equips you to manage a diverse caseload, while collaborating with educators and families to support each child’s growth. Whether you’re an ASHA-certified SLP-CCC or completing your SLP-CFY year, your expertise will be highly valued in this supportive environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Ohio state SLP license
• Ohio teaching certification (Intervention Specialist or Pupil Services)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with PreK-9th grade or pediatric settings preferred
• ASHA CCC or strong CFY candidates encouraged

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with school teams and families
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to students individually and in groups
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
• Offer guidance to teachers and classroom staff supporting student needs
