Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Effective collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to develop targeted therapy plans based on students’ unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting
- Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and support intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, session notes, and evaluations
- Offer recommendations and resources for classroom accommodations and modifications
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student achievement
