Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students with their communication needs in a dynamic school environment. A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to work with children in grades K-5, fostering language development and social communication skills. This contract position starts as soon as possible and runs through October 2026, providing an opportunity for long-term collaboration with dedicated education professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC certification required
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for diverse speech and language needs
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Professional commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized speech-language therapy plans for students in kindergarten through fifth grade
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and monitor progress, adjusting plans as necessary
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other support staff to address students' speech and language challenges within the school setting
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and engage with families to communicate student progress
