School Speech Language Pathologist - Pisgah Forest, NC

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs considered
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school environment
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic assessments, direct therapy, and intervention for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and work closely with teachers, families, and school staff
• Monitor, track, and report student progress in accordance with school timelines and standards
• Lead or participate in IEP meetings, offering expert guidance on student needs and accommodations
• Consult with teachers and parents to offer strategies, resources, and training that support student success in and out of the classroom
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
