Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for state licensure as required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide both individual and group therapy
- Strong documentation and progress monitoring abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support
- Collaborate with special education teams and families to set and achieve student goals
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adhere to all relevant compliance regulations
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary conferences
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment for students with diverse communication needs
