Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to varying student needs
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals for student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports
  • Offer expertise and training to school staff regarding speech and language interventions
