Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous schools-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Comfortable with IEP development, assessment, and direct therapy services
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators
- Commitment to helping each student achieve their communication goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct SLP services to students according to their IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized interventions
- Track student progress and maintain required documentation
- Serve as a resource and advocate for communication needs within the school environment
- Support both general and special education populations as needed
