Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential (new grads with strong skills encouraged to apply)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for K-12 students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for interventions
- Deliver both direct and consultative services utilizing best practices in school-based speech-language therapy
