Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience, particularly with K-5th grade students, is highly valued
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to administer speech evaluations and maintain compliance with IEP documentation requirements
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations as needed
- Develop, update, and manage IEPs, collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
- Track student progress and make data-driven recommendations for continued support
- Effectively manage a caseload of 55 students, meeting required timelines and school standards
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians and participate in IEP team meetings
