A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 public school setting located in Pittsfield, MA. This contract position serves students within Crosby Elementary, supporting grades pre-kindergarten through 5th grade during the academic year.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification with a focus on school settings (SLP - School)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA preferred
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments
- Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload comprised primarily of students in grades pre-K through 5th grade
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy using evidence-based techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support students’ overall academic and social success
Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts – serving a public elementary school
Contract Duration: Academic school year (CSY) with flexibility to consider Voco candidates
