Speech Language Pathologist in Pittsfield, MA

The upcoming school year offers a rewarding contract opportunity for a highly qualified SLP, working with engaged learners from Pre-K through 4th grade. Your role will span two sites, ensuring a diverse and dynamic workday as you collaborate with dedicated educators and support teams. This is a full-time, on-site only position spanning August 25th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts
• Background working within elementary-aged populations, particularly Pre-K-4th grade
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Prior school-based SLP experience is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for students across both sites
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication needs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with student IEPs
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and communication with the IEP team
• Educate and collaborate with teachers and families to support student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
