The upcoming school year offers a rewarding contract opportunity for a highly qualified SLP, working with engaged learners from Pre-K through 4th grade. Your role will span two sites, ensuring a diverse and dynamic workday as you collaborate with dedicated educators and support teams. This is a full-time, on-site only position spanning August 25th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts
- Background working within elementary-aged populations, particularly Pre-K-4th grade
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Prior school-based SLP experience is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for students across both sites
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with student IEPs
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and communication with the IEP team
- Educate and collaborate with teachers and families to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
