A K-12 school in Pittston, PA seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services to a diverse student population. This contract position runs from as soon as possible through June 9, 2026, with a full-time workload of 35 hours per week. The caseload primarily includes students with autism, emotional disturbances, and multiple disabilities (MDS), requiring expertise in tailored intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals and needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students across K-12 grades with a focus on autism spectrum disorders, emotional disturbance, and MDS
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students across various disabilities, including autism and emotional disturbances
  • Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently while delivering quality, student-centered care
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location: Pittston, Pennsylvania (Onsite)
