What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- California licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Skilled at working independently and as part of interdisciplinary teams
- Committed to the success and growth of students with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12th students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain thorough documentation and support compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with families, providing strategies to reinforce progress at home
- Offer professional input to educators for accommodating various communication needs in the classroom
