Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in school environments, preferably with K-12th grade students
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on students’ IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in-person, targeting a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other related service providers for multidisciplinary support
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Counsel and educate students, families, and educational staff on communication strategies and techniques
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
