Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state licensure for California, or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience highly desired
  • Solid understanding of K-12 developmental milestones and educational needs
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families for student success
  • Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support students in developing social communication, articulation, language, and fluency skills
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment
