Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure for California, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience highly desired
- Solid understanding of K-12 developmental milestones and educational needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families for student success
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students in developing social communication, articulation, language, and fluency skills
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment
