Apply NowA full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in an elementary school setting. This role focuses on supporting students from early childhood through grade 5 in a self-contained autism program, providing specialized services to meet diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with autism spectrum disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings.
- Adhere to all state licensure and educational credential requirements.
Qualifications:
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- ISBE Professional Educator License.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Ability to deliver services within self-contained special education classrooms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Position Details:
- Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY)
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
