A healthcare-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students from early childhood through 8th grade in an elementary school setting. This contract opportunity spans from August 18, 2025, to June 2, 2026, offering full or part-time hours. The role involves providing speech and language therapy services with a manageable caseload not exceeding 60 students, ensuring quality and focused care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and therapy across early childhood, elementary, and middle school age groups
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide teletherapy services as needed, incorporating best practices for remote intervention
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation and progress reporting
- Support students across multiple locations including early childhood, elementary, and middle schools
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois SLP license
- Valid Illinois teaching certification
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in healthcare, pediatric, school, or teletherapy settings is highly valued
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is beneficial
- Prior school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
