Step into an opportunity to make a difference for students in the upcoming 26/27 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 learners. This contract position is open to full-time, mono or bilingual (Spanish) SLPs eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic educational environment. You’ll play a key role in helping students develop essential communication skills that empower them in and beyond the classroom.

Key Skills & Experience Sought:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience and/or credentials in any of the following: SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, SLP - Healthcare, SLP - School, SLP - Pediatrics
  • Ability to support K-12 caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is valued, but not required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy services to K-12 students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with educators and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that celebrates student growth
  • Embrace flexible communication methods and evidence-based practices
