Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Knowledge of IEP processes and a passion for helping students reach their goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Deliver therapy services to students individually or in small groups
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to IEP documentation and meetings
- Consult with teachers and parents to develop effective classroom strategies and supports
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes
