Required Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students for two hours each week
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Conduct formal and informal evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
- Collaborate effectively as part of an educational team to support student success
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress, ensuring documentation complies with district and legal guidelines
- Communicate regularly with family members and teachers regarding student needs and progress
