Required Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students for two hours each week
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Conduct formal and informal evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
  • Collaborate effectively as part of an educational team to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress, ensuring documentation complies with district and legal guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with family members and teachers regarding student needs and progress
