Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (for SLPs)
- Valid license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois (CCC or CFY candidates welcome)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and willingness to deliver remote services as needed
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to supervise or collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with education teams and families
- Deliver ongoing therapy sessions, both face-to-face and via teletherapy platforms
- Document student progress, prepare IEPs, and contribute actively to IEP meetings
- Consult and coordinate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Support and guide SLPAs with treatment activities and service delivery as needed
