Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligible) as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Prior school-based or pediatric SLP experience is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and small group formats
- Track progress, maintain thorough documentation, and communicate effectively with families and staff
- Consult with teachers and provide strategies that support student progress in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide insights and recommendations for student support
