Step into a meaningful role for the 26/27 academic year supporting students’ growth and communication skills. We’re seeking full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in K-12 educational settings. Both mono- and bilingual (Spanish) SLPs are encouraged to apply. Opportunities span a range of caseloads, allowing you to bring your expertise and creativity to help students thrive.

Preferred candidates will have a background in school-based speech and language intervention, familiarity with pediatric populations, and relevant training across the SLP spectrum—including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and SLP-CCC professionals. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to promote equitable access to communication and academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience providing SLP services in schools, healthcare, or pediatric settings
  • Comfortable with K-12 caseloads; bilingual (Spanish) abilities are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop IEP goals and provide direct/indirect services as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Track progress and maintain accurate documentation per school and district guidelines
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to special education planning
