Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based environments or with school-aged children preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple school sites
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to early childhood and elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and staff development days
  • Consult with staff on strategies to foster communication skills in classroom settings
