Speech Language Pathologist in Plainfield, IL

Step into a rewarding opportunity working with young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract basis. This position is conveniently located near Plainfield, IL, offering a set Monday through Friday schedule from 7:35am to 3:05pm. You'll focus on kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, managing a caseload of 25-30 children in an environment where your expertise is valued and your plans are supported by a pre-established schedule designed for smooth push-in services.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience with K-2nd grade populations preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to provide engaging therapy in push-in settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-2 students within general education classrooms
• Utilize the provided, fully developed schedule for efficient service delivery
• Modify and adapt therapeutic activities to meet individual student needs
• Offer direct and consultative support to teachers and staff
• Track student progress, contribute to IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members
