Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Indiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in Pediatrics and school-based settings
- Comfortable with both in-person and teletherapy service models
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and independently
As a Speech-Language Pathologist on this contract, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication, speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop student IEP goals
- Delivering direct and consultative therapy sessions, both in-person and virtually
- Participating in team meetings and contributing expertise to support student success
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Educating families and staff on communication strategies
