Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
  • Prior experience with elementary-age students strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans, goals, and measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to support students’ educational progress
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for service delivery, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Offer support and guidance to classroom staff on language development strategies and accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
