Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
- Prior experience with elementary-age students strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans, goals, and measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to support students’ educational progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for service delivery, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Offer support and guidance to classroom staff on language development strategies and accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
