Qualifications & Skills Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (required for SLP/CF)
- Texas licensure or eligibility for SLP, CFY, or SLPA roles within school settings
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellow applicants welcome with supervision provided
- Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric caseloads a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based and culturally sensitive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide direct speech-language therapy for students in ECSE through first grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and campus staff to support student success
- Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting standards for Special Education services
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and assist in student transitions when needed
Enjoy a structured 37.5 hours/week schedule during the academic year. The caseload does not include students with AAC-device needs, allowing you to focus on core speech and language growth for students with diverse abilities.
